In the background a flock of sheep with two more shepherds at some barns. Published in London by Jacob Tonson in 1697 in "The Works of Virgil: Containing his Pastorals, Georgics, and Aeneid. Translated into English Verse; by Mr. Dryden. Adorn'd with a Hundred Sculptures." Signed lower left in print. Numbered 99 at the top.
