Details

Ice hockey club Raak Den Haag / Houtrust was a merger club between IJHC The Hague and IJHC Rotterdam. Founded in 1972 by disgruntled sponsors of HIJS. HIJS left for De Uithof in 1973. Raak / Houtrust remained active in the Houtrust Hall. In the 1973-74 season, the Dutch Ice Hockey Association withdrew the national title won by Raak in connection with the drafting of a player who was not eligible to play. Duyvestein Wintersport succeeded ice hockey club Raak in 1974. Under the name HOKIJ Houtrust they played in the Houtrusthal until 1984, the year in which the ice rink closed. They then played under the name HOKIJ Uithof until 1994 at the Uithof. In 1994, HOKIJ Uithof and HIJS HOKIJ merged. This ice hockey sticker was issued in 1973 by Raak ice hockey The Hague.
