Also observed with green capsule. On the occasion of the replacement Bommel statue in Den Bommel. Unopened (and better not to open anymore!) Bottle of red wine with a picture on the label of the old Ollie B. Bommel statue by the Schiedam sculptor André Henderickx on the Koningin Emmaplein in Den Bommel (ZH). On April 14, 1964, the Bommel statue (an initiative of the Leiden student sorority Ollie B) was unveiled by Jeanette Toonder, daughter of Marten Toonder who was unable to attend due to illness. When Frits Henderickx (brother of the sculptor) and Jan Kemps saw thirty years later that the statue (originally made of chamotte clay) had expired, they decided to replace it with a bronze statue that was unveiled on May 24, 1997 by Eiso Toonder, the son of Marten Toonder. The old statue went to the public primary school Ollie B. Bommel.
