Originally designed by Charles Stadden for Belmont Maitland owner of Tradition, then called Norman Newton. Due to the high lead content, arms and legs could easily be changed to other positions. As far as is known, 4 different artillerymen were made of this figure. The figures were painted with an undercoat to prevent tin rot (did not help by the way)
