Depiction of Queen Astrid of Belgium, with a diamond and emerald diadem and necklace. Astrid, Princess of Sweden married Prince Leopold of Belgium in 1926. In 1934 she became Queen of the Belgians, but in 1935 she was killed in a car accident. She received the tiara in this photo from her parents-in-law in 1930 on the occasion of the birth of Prince Baudouin. This tin can therefore be dated between 1931 and about 1936 (possibly in memory of her death).

Astrid, Prinses van Zweden trouwde in 1926 met Prins Leopold van België. In 1934 werd ze Koningin der Belgen, maar in 1935 kwam ze bij een auto-ongeval om het leven. De tiara op deze foto kreeg ze in 1930 van haar schoonouders cadeau ter gelegenheid van de geboorte van prins Boudewijn. Dit blikje is dus te dateren tussen 1931 en ca. 1936 (mogelijk ter nagedachtenis na haar overlijden).
