During the golden age of Polish poster, period 1945-1990, there was this communication much attention. The posters have a remarkable artistic quality. The better work of the great printmakers of the Polish poster school is still being sought.
These are original prints. Name of artist is shown on the poster.
Jan Sawka was born in 1946 in Zabre. Graduated in Wroclaw at the Wroclaw Architecture Dept. of the Polytechnic. Has completed a study on the ASP in Wroclaw as a painter and graphic designer. Fairs organized in Budapest and New York in 1972, Wroclaw and Helsinki in 1973. Ensued many exhibits. In 1978 he was awarded a gold medal at the 7th Poster Biennale in Warsaw
