According to The Nickel Tour these postcards were issued between 1965 and 1969 and used three different publishers. Often all three companies would publish the same image with additional letters and numbers added to the series number. The H. S. Crocker Company published the 1-XXX series, Mike Roberts Color Productions published the 1-XXX SCXXXX series - with the letters "SC" meaning "small card" - and Dexter Press published the 1-XXX DT-XXXXX-C series. A few of these cards have a "W" after the number signifying this card was designed by WED Enterprise.
There are 179 cards in this set, not counting the variations, and measure 3-1/2" by 5-1/2".
