Victor Spahn was born on 20 March 1949 in Paris, France of Russian parents. He began his career as a student of Andre Lanskoy (1902-1976), an advocate of ' lyrical abstraction '. After his secondary studies, he worked extensively with mosaics. The sensitivity and the techniques developed in this area have strongly influenced his choices in painting and printmaking.
Spahn is known for his paintings, lithographs and silkscreen prints and mono-prints (hand-enhaced graphic work).
