Details
Deep Red. High amounts of crystals and sediment. Nose - Classic Merlot dominated St Emilion, fruitcake, plum, black cherry. Hints of clove, chocolate, liqourice and herbs. Intense and complex. Front black and red fruit - black cherries and plums. A little greenness (the Cab Franc). Medium to full body. Medium acidity. Soft silky tannins. Long velvety finish. Good tertiary notes of chocolate, coffee and dried fruit. The oak is beautifully integrated as a good structure to the intense fruit. Very well made and complex. Drinking well now, but a few years of development. Very pleasant fruit forward St Emilion.
