Marker und Fischer GmbH ("M+F") was a model train manufacturer from Fürstenfeldbruck near Munich, mainly dedicated to small series of kits and spare parts for scale models. The company (a GmbH) was founded in August 1968 by textile merchant and modeling enthusiast Hermann Merker and entrepreneur Detlef Fischer. In 1975, in addition to the production of railway models for the first time a magazine, M+F Journal, was released. This magazine was renamed in 1980 in "Eisenbahn Journal" and published by Hermann Merker Verlag.
