Details

The Belle family estate is located in the village of Larnage, about 3 km north of the famous Hermitage vineyard area. The Belle family owns 18 hectares of vineyards. In the past they delivered grapes to the bigger boys. But since 1988, when Philippe graduated in Montpellier, the family started producing their own wine in a new wine estate. They own vines in the Crozes Hermitage, in the Les Pierrelles vineyard, and on the famous Hermitage mountain. The soil of the Les Pierrelles is very calcareous and also has a lot of granite and is covered with pebbles, while the Hermitage consists for the most part of granite. This gives the wines strength, elegance and that typical minerality of the Northern Rhône. Due to the exceptional quality of its wines, the special and historic region of Hermitage can be considered one of the best and most prominent wine regions in France. Precious, but no doubt Syrah at its best! Crozes Hermitage comprises the area adjacent to the Hermitage. Here too, wines of a very high quality come from, which in their youth are often not inferior to the big brother.
