Larger than expected - nice nose of dark leaves, violets and cherries. Only the slightest tanning on rim, still quite dark. Perform in cedar and good long sweet aftertaste. A palette of aromas of beef, truffles and sweet cherries good to go now, but I think it's at least 10 + years, leather and a fresh garden mint and petunia. Very subtle, light aroma of a mature Bordeaux. Enough fruit to balance out the fading tannins. Secondary nose blue cheese.Very earthy flavors with smooth finish. Served with roast beef, but at this stage, would work with lighter dishes such as roast chicken. Light brick red color.
