Limited Edition of 4,032 pcs. In 1975, the Jaguar XJS was launched and its production span lasted 21 years. Although the XJS replaced the Jaguar type E, it can not be considered as its direct successor, as it differed too much in size, interior space and design. The most important of the features, which made it desirable, was its V12 engine with a cubic capacity of 5.3 litres and a performance of 289 hp. In 1988 Jaguar launched a very beautiful convertible version of the XJS, which replaced the preceding Targa. Today the convertible is considered as the most desirable version.
