Château Figeac is a 40 hectare wine lands the largest domain in the AOC Saint-Émilion. The vineyards is an almost equal amount of cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc and merlot planted. This is striking, in most wines from Saint-Emilion region of provenance merlot is indeed dominant. The assemblages of Figeac seem stylistically similar to the wines of the Médoc and Graves. The wine Château Figeac is thanks to this particular style is one of the most famous wines of Bordeaux. The grand vin 'of the Château is also appointed Premier Grand Cru Classe (Class B) in the Classification of Saint-Émilion wines.
