Box (252x175x115mm included the somewhat bigger bottom) is of American origin. Made of wood covered with maroon colored, fake leather. The padded lid, attached with brass hinges, is imprinted in gold with two (by now almost invisible) Pung Chow dragons. The box opens with a bush button on the flap front. On both sides there are drops of bronze-like metal. The inside is covered with the same fake leather. The four drawers for the tiles and the four narrow containers for the counters etc. are made of a good quality wood. Tiles (21x29x9mm) are made of two layers of synthetic material. White on top. Black on the bottom. They have slightly rounded corners and have been imprinted, in red, green and blue, with the standard Pung Chow characters and images. Of the distinctive Pung Chow dragons the White dragon is silver. There belong no spare tiles to the set. Counters are thin strips of celluloid with ivory pattern (French Ivory). Their length differ. They are printed in blue and red with Western de-nomination. Instead of 2000 p. p. their total value is 1500 p.p. There belong no wind indicators to Pung Chow sets. Instruction manual is a Pung Chow publication(© 1922). The gray cover, bound with a piece of rope, is embossed in gold with the Pung Chow dragon and info. The flower tiles depicted in the booklet differ from the set. There are also three Pung Chow score cards.
