Box (276x146x67mm) is of American origin. Made of black painted wood. Low an rectangular model with sliding lid. Imprinted in gold, red and light blue with the distinctive Pung Chow dragon logo and decorations. The interior has two compartments. A big one for the tiles. A smaller one for counters etc. Tiles (21x30x11mm) are made of two layers of dark and blank, untreated wood. They have rounded corners and have been imprinted, in red, green and blue, with the standard Pung Chow characters and images. Of the distinctive Pung Chow dragons the White dragon is silver. The pictures on the red season tiles are almost identical to those of the Paraffine Company. There belong no spare tiles to the set. Counters are made of synthetic material (celluloid?) in red, pink, light blue and turquoise. Dice (2x) are made of bone with Western points. There belong no wind indicators to Pung Chow sets. Instruction manual is the (almost in perfect condition) booklet ‘Pung Chow in 10 minutes. Without a Teacher.’. With an introduction by L.L. Harr. At the time for sale at 25 dollar cents.
