Box (210x136x80mm) is of American origin. Made of cardboard covered with black green bookbinders linen. With fixed lid with push button and attached front flap. Printed in faded red and gold with the Piroxloid icon if the Mandarin Chinaman-with- the-straw hat. The inside is pasted with blue paper. The Containing four drawers for the tiles an four small boxes for the counters etc. Tiles (22x32x8mm) are mad, through and through, of celluloid (French Ivory). De tiles are typical for Piroxloid. Like the bird on Bamboo 1, the letters on the Dragons and the the flower tiles. They are printed in red, green and blue. There belong no spare tiles to the set. Counters are sturdy strips of light brown synthetic material with Western denomination. Dice (2x) are made of French Ivory celluloid with Western points. Wind indicators are made of the same synthetic material as the counters. There container is made of thin celluloid with French Ivory pattern. With a N-wind character on the lid. Instruction manual is the standard Piroxloid booklet (© 1923) with the Chinaman-with-Hat on the cover. There is also a roughly trimmed counting table from a St. Louis based jeweler. All tiles are displayed in the manual.
