Box (282x146x50mm) is of American origin. Made of brown lacquered wood. Low model with sliding lid, existing of two different kinds of wood, imprinted in gold with the Piroxloid icon if the Chinaman-with- the-straw hat. The interior has two compartments. A big one for the tiles. A smaller one for counters etc. Tiles (22x32x8mm) are made, through and through, of celluloid (French Ivory). The tiles are typical for Piroxloid. Like the bird on Bamboo 1, the letters on the Dragons and the flower tiles. They are printed in red, green and blue. There belong no spare tiles to the set. Counters are sturdy strips of shiny, white synthetic material with Western denomination. Dice (2x) are made of celluloid with Western points. Wind indicators are made of synthetic material. There container is made of thin celluloid with French Ivory pattern. The N-wind character on the lid is almost invisible. An instruction manual is missing.
