Details
Box (175x143x72mm) is of American origin. Made of thick cardboard pasted with yellow textured paper printed in black with the Babcock logo, the name ‘Popular Edition’ and additional Parker Bros info. The box is small and has a loose lid and an attached front flap. Inside there are two trays for tiles, counters and dice. Lid and flap are restored with paper from the bottom of the trays.
Tiles (23x32x10mm) are made of thick triplex. Printed with mono-chrome characters and images. The backside is green. There are (belong) no spare tiles (to the set).
Counters are round wooden sticks colored red, green, yellow and blue. Difference in length define the four values.
Dice (2x) are made of bone with Western points.
There belong no wind indicators to the set.
Instruction manual is the red Babcock booklet. A special publication for/by Parker Bros inc. August 1923.
