Box (190x160x191mm), of Chinese origin, is a rather square 5 drawer model with a (somewhat split) sliding front. Made from attractive, dark red rosewood. With the usual copper ornaments. The front features fake-jade characters surrounded by gold colored decorations. Tiles (19x27x11mm) are Chinese. They are made of average quality, thin bone and bamboo. They are a bit to small for the drawers. The engraving is standard. There are 4 spare tiles. Counters are of standard quality bone with Western denomination. Dice (4x) are made of bone with Chinese points. Their container is a Cricket box. Wind discs are made of white bone and feature green characters with red initials. Their container is a Ming box. The set lacks an instruction manual. Box and drawers are almost completely restored.
