Ypres - The Chatellanie Hotel before and after the Bombardement The former building was the residence of the Castellany of Ypres. Under the French occupation it was removed and sold to the city. It was until 1914 the popular «Hotel of the Chatellenie», a place where took place the great banquets. After the reconstruction, the building is used as the City Hall, this until 1967. Now in this building housed the Court of Commerce.
