Last album released by Dupuis in hardcopy form. After 1950 ('Godefroid of Bouillon' by Sirius and 'Baden Powell' by Jijé) it was only the Spirou albums that appeared in this deluxe version. Two versions of this album are known; this is the version with the linen spine, without discoloration along the spine. This is probably the rarest. The other version has a leathery back so stronger 'fish glue' was used, this glue causes discoloration along the back. We also see the same phenomenon in 'The Heirs'.

Laatste album dat bij Dupuis verscheen in gekartonneerde vorm. Na 1950 ('Godfried van Bouillon' door Sirius en 'Baden Powell' door Jijé) waren het enkel de Robbedoes-albums nog die in deze luxe- uitvoering verschenen.
Er zijn twee versies bekend van dit album; dit is de versie met de linnen rug, zonder verkleuring langs de rug. Dit is waarschijnlijk de meest zeldzame. De andere versie heeft een leerachtige rug waardoor sterkere 'vislijm' gebruikt werd, deze lijm zorgt voor verkleuring langs de rug. Ditzelfde verschijnsel zien we ook bij 'De erfgenamen'.
