Not a comic, but an illustrated children's book. Dating: various newspaper advertisements (for "part 1 of the Rik Ransel Series") from October 3, 1961. On the back: "print: hofman alkmaar". Advertising publication commissioned by the Kwatta chocolate and cocoa factory in Breda. Was available for free in exchange for 25 cut-out "Kwatta soldiers" from the packaging. The soldier was also available as a Kwatta figure. A 2nd part entitled: "Wonderful adventures on the moon" is announced at the end, but was never published.

Een 2e deel met de titel: "Wonderbare avonturen op de maan" wordt aan het slot aangekondigd, maar is nooit verschenen.
