The Anglia 105E was introduced in 1959, the first of a new generation of Fords, replacing the old 100E. This new Anglia, with its 997cc engine had a radically restyled body with a reverse angled rear window giving more headroom.
In 1962 the 1200cc powered Anglia Super 123E arrived, easily distinguished from the standard model by its distinctive two-tone colour schemes and extra chrome trim.
