Details
Introduced in 1947 the Leyland Comet was the first Leyland vehicle to break with the pre-war tradition of naming trucks after animals: Lynx, Beaver, Bear, Bison etc. The Comet was named after the war-time military tank provided at Leyland. Although launched at a time when the country was desperate for experts in the aftermath of war, the Comet provided a great success in the home market and was produced with a large number of body variants of which this box van is just one popular variety. Limited Edition 5.000 pcs. (with certificate)
