Hi!

Sorry for 'disrupting' your forum, but we hope you can help us. We are two students Communication & amp; Media Design, and we are researching record collectors and the future of collecting for a study assignment.

For this we have made a survey that hopefully can give us more insight into the world of record collecting. Our question is whether there are people who would like to fill it in, it would help us a lot! There are 29 questions, consisting of two parts and can be reached via the following link:

[link removed by moderator; it is not the intention to simply conduct such surveys among Catawiki users without prior consultation and without knowing your identity]

Thank you very much for the effort and have a nice Sunday :-)

Talisa & amp; Stella

Wise.

It is not without reason that you can create a survey for free on these types of sites.
In addition to the questioners, the owners of that site also read along, and link everything you enter there to your IP number.

Milvajunk, Dick and Arwin, you have a good point here. I have removed the link to the study. Also because this research was conducted without consultation and we do not know the identity of the researchers.

I have a question about vinyl records, but since I can't make a new subject myself, I'll try it in a bit.

When searching the net I come across vinyl albums with a sticker on them more and more often

which says "limited edition" and also a mention of a color wax

"blue wax", white wax" for which considerable amounts are asked if you would like to purchase it.

in itself there are interesting albums, but I have the idea that somewhere in the world there is a factory (you) that puts songs of certain artists together on a vinyl disc and think they will become very rich, so piracy.

Can someone say something more about this?

no, it does not have to be illegal, but the circulation is often very small. Sometimes only 250 or 500 copies, for the collector. Often the same album is also released in 6 or 7 different colors, so if you want them all, you will lose a lot of money.

You can easily create your own topic.

Go to the section of your choice, look under which sub-section you have the best click. It says "New subject" above it, that's it ...
