New members can introduce themselves here. Do not hesitate to tell something about yourself, your collection and/or shop.

Hi. I am amazed by the site, but really only want to know what country and company manufactures and sells Westcliff Orange Arancia Tea which some kind visitor left at my friends house in Vinales, Cuba. I would like to buy some of that tea. Lots of it! smile. Hope I'm not being a bother here. Thanks. Derek

Hi Derek! Welcome and good to hear you're so enthusiastic about the site! Catawiki self doesn't have any details about where products are sold.

The product you are looking for is manufactured by Westcliff. You could contact one of the collectors that has teabags of Westcliff in their collection. They might provide you with more details. You can find the Westcliff items here.

Hi,

Well after one week i have actually got my first order!

The link did not work to reply to the buyer, I sent him an e mail and had it returned

I could not see where an invoice is generated form

And lastly I could not see a check out button after I had added the postage

for him to pay!

I have sent him a Catawiki message and asked him to pay via paypal but

surely this cannot be the correct route.

I really must master this has I have thousands of stamps to add to your catalogue

for all to share and enjoy.

The idea is wonderful  just cant wait to get cracking have added over 500 this

week already.

Hi glynessa,

In your "Incoming orders" overview you can click on the email icon (envelope) after the name of the buyer. Then e new e-mail will be opened in your mail programme with the mail-adress of the buyer in it. I think you managed to do this but the e-mail bounced if I understand it corrrectly? Can you please send me a Catawiki message with the username of the buyer in it? I can test the mail-adress myself then.

About the invoice: it is not possible to mail the invoice form to the buyer. We are currently building this and I expect it to be ready in the coming weeks.

Thanks for sharing your enthusiasme about Catawiki!

René

Hi! I'm Paul Bines, Presenter/Producer of UK CardCast, a podcast by non-sport trading card collectors for non-sport trading card collectors, and I've been on Catawiki since I interviewed Marco Jansen for the podcast back in June 2010!

I have added a few things to my collection, but I have been somewhat lazy in adding more - which I hope to fix soon!

In the meantime, I was fortunate enough to be invited by Marco and Rene to their London launch of the Catawiki.co.uk website at Orbital Comics and I have included some of the interviews I recorded at the launch in the latest episode of the podcast (Episode 35, "Catawiki goes Orbital"!), including one with Rene!

The episode will be on iTunes and other podcast services shortly, and will also be available to stream or download from http://www.cardcast.co.uk

Au Res.,

Paul

Hello Everyone ;-)

Firstly i would like to say amazing website i love it ;-) So helpful and interesting so a huge well done.

I have a huge stamp collection to sell and i have inherited but i do not have the time to do get into stamp collectin so i am selling it. I would rather someone get enjoyment out of it than put in a box to gather dust. So please check out my shop for stamps from all over the world in all conditions.

Keep up the good work Ems xx

Hi i am Steve a collector of stamps in Manchester uk.

i have a very large amount of stamps nearly 300,000 and of these i have catalogued 40,ooo+ on another site i pay to use called Stanley Gibbons My Collection, but after using this site for a few weeks i guess they will not be getting next years subscription lol

i prefer to trade stamps than sell, but have put a few stamps in the my shop function as it was there to use, i will see how they go and consider putting a lot more on there

i have sent my first order for stamps from the shops, lets see how that goes, and i could be using this a lot more

I am looking Prince Valiant (Splitter Verlag) from the following years:

1939 to 1944, 1946, 1948 to 1951

Thank you very much

Hi Mariano,

Personally, I would never put my e-mail address on a forum.
Spam bots are searching the Internet for this kind of info, and you can expect a lot of unwanted mail, when spammers get a hold of your address.

Collectors can reach you on your Catawiki account anyway, so it's also unnecessary to give away your personal e-mail address.

When you put something on your wish list, you will get an automatic mail from Catawiki, when someone puts an item you are looking for, in his shop.

Hi Mariano,

You can still edit your post, and remove your e-mail address.

If you don't, the chance of getting spam is almost 100%

The longer it's online, the higher the chance a spam bot will detect it, and automatically puts you on a mailing list for fake Viagra, fake Russian brides and other stuff you can do without.

Hi everyone,

This is my 3rd day browsing this site and I think it is fantastic.

My main interest is Austrian stamp collecting, and I will be

putting my collection on the site soon.

I have one query about an order I placed with Eric Boere.

When I check the status of my order, it only shows "ordered",

and I have not yet been asked for payment. What have I done

wrong?

Nothing.

The seller needs to let you know how much postage will cost. I suppose he will send you a PayPal invoice.

How long ago did you place the order?

Edit: I see he lists shipping prices in his shop. You could just send payment through Paypal, but I would also prefer waiting for some form of personal contact first.

I ordered the goods 3 days ago. I think I will wait for contact

before I send payment,

Thanks again.

Hello Lee,

Thanks for the compliment.
Our military medals are over here.
Far from complete, so feel free to add your own medals to our collection.
