Behoudens enkele krantenberichten ( via Delpher) 1948 over dit "olympisch" sportboek, kon ik niets vinden over de schrijver B. Baanen. Op zich al een naam welke niet veel voorkomt in Nederland. In het voorwoord wordt gesproken over nog immer de papierschaarste in Nederland na WO 2 en het gebrek aan pecunia, wat een reis naar de olympische spelen in St. Moritz voor de meeste burgers bij een droom bleef. Vandaar dit verslag van een reis naar St. Moritz en uiteenzettingen over de diverse wintersporten , achtergronden en wedstrijdverslagen. Is het een roman ? ( ABC reeks zijn romans ) , is de ik figuur de schrijver B. Baanen , met zijn schrijfmachine onder de arm met KLM en trein en bus zich verplaatsend ? Als sportjournalist...
Het boeit me , voor 1948 gezellig vlot en humorvol geschreven, weet iemand meer ??
Heb inmiddels wel lol in het nieuwe LD met een moderne catalogus , waar je meer info via foto s of scans kan invoeren.
