Is #9691585 a stamp? Or postmark? Or something else?

Looks like a clipping or picture of part of an envelope to me.

Indeed, a piece of envelope (bulk mail) with fantasy picture next to the standard international "postage paid" statement.
No stamp to be found.

Take a closer look on the internet.
You can create cards to send via an app. And Omapost does that for you.
But then this is with 'admission' from Post.nl, right? Or not?
In other words, are there still companies in NL that send letters and cards?
And can you not consider it as a postcard.
Has anyone ever used this; of course he knows...

Maybe someone can say: is it a 'product' of post NL or not?
And is it an envelope? Might as well be a card.
And the 'product' has not been used (= not stamped).

It is not a postal product. It is a (part of an) envelope or card that (probably, but you can't prove that without a stamp) was transported by PostNL. In that sense, you can call the entire item a mail item (but not worth a postal item).

You will come across the Port Paid / Port Payé vignette on countless shipments, because it is mandatory for all bulk mail, which is sent in bulk by companies and which is charged afterwards (at a special rate). That there is a fictitious "seal" next to is printed is no more than a gimmick.

Collectors can probably be found for genuine commemorative stamps (which are supplied by PostNL), but they fall into a category similar to "personal stamps", of which there is no overview of issues.

What do you call this entered item?
Postmarking, cancelling,... a bit difficult since not stamped.
Envelope or card; sent or not?
Or just mail.

I could be wrong, but I don't think the item (in this form) is more than a Clipping. Of which the user in question has already entered many thousands.

It is therefore not postmarked.
And so I don't know what it is.
So Tammo, would you name the "Item" then?
So I did find something of attention stamps at PostNL.
But whether they serve to frank or to 'attend'?

would you like to give a name to the 'object'?

Why should I make up a name for it?
Personally, I'm starting to wonder more and more what the point is of all those clippings in the catalogue. Often get the feeling that they are being introduced for the sake of entering.
Does anyone have a good idea how to mitigate this?

I have also seen people who photograph and enter their groceries. Well, it's allowed, but does anyone collect it? Some brands do, such as coca cola, m&m, etc. Where is the line?

What do I mean by 'Messages'?
Are you also going to import an apple and a carrot?
Limited shelf life...
So you can start with that, it should be sustainable...
So no food...
* A 'link with 1 of the 71 other rubrics.
A t-shirt with a picture of Suske en Wiske = OK.
A plain white t-shirt = not.
Otherwise I might as well enter my entire wardrobe/wardrobe.
Or whatever is in my house.
Or are there also those who collect wardrobes, for example...

The sticker on the apple or banana is also possible, otherwise it is of course the packaging. And yes, I'm not waiting for the pancake batter box either. And that while I collect sugar sachets myself, go figure...

A Levi 501 or similar can also be collected. There are also sneaker collectors. I think Valerio was still in the CW magazine with it.

Sneakers and Levi's that's possible of course.
There are enough collectors who collect 'Everything' from a 'certain brand'.
World example without advertising: C...-...a.(drank)
Dutch example: He....en.(drink)
Belgian examples: D...l (drink), P..m (drink)

The "funny" thing is that the importer does not collect the items, otherwise you could still speak of a long-term Vision. Grandmother's bulky waste now has collector value.

Incidentally, it bothers me that in one place people look very closely at what is and is not allowed and on the other hand bubble wrap and tiger balm are added.

Apparently a lot is possible in the Other section. Hence perhaps the name Other?.

@Tamma am already in the process of deleting because you do not see a clipping as a collector's item. It's getting less and less fun on LD. Saves my weather time and work and will no longer make improvements to the clippings, they will be removed anyway. Whether you can get other collectors to do the same remains to be seen. Then I'm going to keep busy with DVD etc.

Because you never know in advance how many collectors will collect a certain item and/or object, we are a bit more flexible with Other than in other categories. Quite a few sections have already emerged from Other in this way, just as Fiscal Stamps, Perfins, Crown Caps, Golf Balls, etc. will soon follow.
