Currently, CD Video and Laserdisc are two different formats. In my opinion it would be wise to simply classify CD Video under Laserdisc. This is because it is technically not a different format. CD Video was just a Philips marketing term for digital sound discs, later the same format was re-released by Pioneer as Laserdisc. The purely analog discs are sold as Laservision or video disc, but are also simply listed in the database under Laserdisc. In terms of overview it seems wise to transfer the CD Video releases to Laserdisc.

While it is correct that CD Video was used (in my opinion deceptively) to market some 20cm and 30cm Laserdiscs with digital sound, CD Video is actually a distinct format the size of a standard 12cm CD that contains 185MB or about 20 minutes of CD audio and 5 minutes of analog Laserdisc video. I agree that the 20cm and 30cm could be considered Laserdisc instead of true CD Video, CD Video is an actual separate format that does exist.
