Algemeene vraag aan beheerders Muziek.
Mij is wel eens opgevallen dat men platen bij LastDodo ingeeft die al aanwezig zijn in de Catalogus alleen hebben ze bij de nieuwe invoer een witte hoes. (Is geen fabriek hoes)
Dit lijkt mij doch niet de bedoeling, zo kan men ja iedere plaat nieuw ingeven men hoeft er ja alleen een, in dit geval, witte hoes om doen, mag van mij ook een andere kleur zijn.
Heb een voorbeeld.
Deze staat er al in #529553 en deze is er nieuw ingekomen #9341863

I have sometimes noticed that records are entered at LastDodo that are already present in the Catalog, only they have a white sleeve with the new entry. (Not a factory cover)

LyonesseBen geen beheerder, maar het heeft inderdaad geen zin vinyl in te voeren als de oorspronkelijke hoes ontbreekt. Het zou wel kunnen maar dan geen 1 e 2e scan of foto, echter dat laat het invoersysteem ( terecht) niet toe. Zo wie is het voorbeeld nieuw ingekomen een doublure. Kortom een gebruiker mag er toch op gewezen worden dit zo niet in te voeren, feitelijk moet ie dat toch wel zelf beseffen ? Zo te zien is de invoerder van de "witte hoes" al geruime tijd bezig, maar ook wel actief met veel correcte invoer.
Ik hoop dat er niet al te veel vinyl zonder hoezen in de catalogus staat.
LyonesseI'm not an administrator, but there is indeed no point in importing vinyl if the original cover is missing. It would be possible, but not a 1st, 2nd scan or photo, but the input system (rightly) does not allow that. So who is the example newly arrived a duplication. In short, a user may be pointed out not to enter this in this way, in fact he must realize that himself? It looks like the "white cover" importer has been busy for quite some time, but also active with a lot of correct input.
I hope there isn't too much vinyl without sleeves in the catalog.

Maar ja het staat zo kaal ...

Maar als je een jukebox bezit hoesje kan je niet kwijt alleen het vinyl
Dus hoes weggooien
Misschien ken je ze nog die platen koffertjes (Harmonica) vaak was hoes iets te groot kon koffer niet dicht
Hoes weglaten koffer dicht
Maar vinyl is kwetsbaar dus hoesje is wel handig
Maar blijft zonde net als bij boeken zonder stofomslag minder product terwijl de inhoud/geluid net zo leesbaar/hoorbaar is

Leave cover off suitcase closed
But vinyl is vulnerable so a case is handy
But just like with books without dust jacket, less product while the content / sound is just as readable / audible
Dick52De platenkoffertjes ken ik inderdaad in alle soorten en maten ...
Bij boeken welke ik heb zonder stofomslag probeer ik er eerst achter te komen of er ooit een omslag bij heeft gezeten. Zo ja dan voer ik het boek zonder omslag wel in , met een notitie. In de hoop dat iemand die het boek met omslag heeft ooit de foto's in de catalogus vervangt.
