A few wishes for improvement ;

  1. within the area Stamps can also be sorted by 'Nominal value'. That can speed up the search for duplications considerably.

  2. if you temporarily close your shop due to During your vacation, you can still add items to your shop, but then don't change or delete anything until you reopen your shop (and then it will take a while before everything is visible again). You also do not see your sales items in catalog items.

Wish: Even if you have temporarily closed your shop, you should be able to see your own sales items in catalog items yourself, and you should also be able to see (and edit) your shop's content via the entry ' My shop'

wilfredb I completely agree with point 1, because some of them have a very high "LEEKBOO" content, and this creates the duplication.
Recently also introduced and damn again a duplication, and let's be honest no one benefits from extra work.

1) It was explained before, when introducing the filter to Nominal value, that this field does not have the correct data type. It is already on the wish list to convert this to a manageable field, which can then also be sorted.

2) The desire to be able to work on a shop during the Temporary are closed, is known and is on our list.

Wish for new fields and/or changes, please post in the topic: Wishes for new fields in the Stamps-section

Thank you, Collectioneur. I already looked for a topic for new wishes but found 'new fields in ...' a bit too specific. And it may well be that you have already explained it, try to find it again ;-)

Searching the forum I found this post from 2010: https://www.lastdodo.nl/nl/community/topics/1899-grieks-chinees-en-wat-dies-meer-zij

And this still seems to be a problem, (If I sign what I don't think is special as the  č in an author name I get an error that doesn't make sense, but when I remove it everything continues)
so can we get Unicode/UTF-8 back on the list?

rvraa , That's right, special characters still don't always go well unfortunately. We do have it on our list but it hasn't been fixed yet indeed.

Previously you could call up the items on search lists per type. I found that useful. Can this come back?

After you have clicked on the search list, don't you first get a selection option for the various categories on the left?
After you have selected a category, you will be given various filter options.

Yes, well almost, I only have 1 book on it. Perhaps a misunderstanding: I want to know what each species is looking for, so all specimens that are on someone's search list.
That was possible in the past.

vertigo ,
Perhaps you can indicate exactly where you are if you need it. In your wish list or in the catalogue? And what was possible before?

If you are in your search list, you can click on an item and you will get the same block as with a catalog item where you see on the right how many people the item is search:

When I clicked on a type in the catalog of Books, for example Art or Poetry, there were 2 buttons (if I remember correctly), With one button you could see all the items for sale in Art or Poetry to see. With the other button you could see all the searched items in Art or Poetry.

These buttons probably disappeared when the site was redesigned.

Aha, that is indeed not possible now. I don't really know if that was the case before, but the new design in the catalog has been around for quite some time now. However, you can immediately see what is and isn't searched in a photo gallery in the catalog by the icon that indicates whether an item is being searched for.

The icons help a bit, but to get a complete picture of the searched specimens in 1 type, you sometimes have to view more than a few thousand items. With the 'old' button (which I used a lot) that was reduced to a few hundred at most.

I always keep an eye on which items are being searched, but sometimes I have less time and sometimes very quickly add items. In those cases, the button was useful. No idea if there are more users who like that.

Yes, I often offer an item from my collection if it is searched for by 1 or more users. But I also find it interesting to know which items are (highly) sought after in connection with. the valuation and to be able to assess the rarity.

The possibility has indeed been gone for some time, but I am not one to ask for something quickly either.

An idea might be to add two sliders on each Rubric page, under Old Items, with Most Collected Items and Most Wanted Items.
Collectors love lists :-)

That's an idea Collectioneur
You should only determine that per language for language-related items such as comics and books.

Idea (general): it often happens that there is a question regarding a person's birth or death date (name information known in the catalogue).
Increasingly, the RIP in div. parts of the forum posted.

It turns out more often that some of the catalog data is not always known or one has to search for it. (rode...).
Assuming that the things posted (in the forum) are correct (or does that require extra attention? Depending on its placement), a database of data is created in itself.
Wasn't a centralized search function (eg main search bar) and result (beyond the knowledge that this is present in the forum) not a good function?.

Another wish in the role of 'seller':
it requires too much clicking (4 screens) to change a shop item, both from the catalog item and from an order line.

For example: I want to adjust the sale price of a sale item of which I have 4 pieces and have now sold one.

From the order line:
- click #1: I click on the title of the item in the order line (right click, open in new tab)
- now the order line appears in detail. I can't change anything in this
- click #2: right under 'For sale' I click at the top on the listing behind 'in your shop'
- now the sales item appears, but not in 'edit mode'.
Suggestion: if I am the owner of the item, please use THIS screen in 'edit mode'.
- click #3: I click on 'View ->'
- now I still can't edit the item. So click #4: 'Edit shop item'
- hey hey, I can customize the item.

Another wish, again in the role of 'salesman'.

In an opened order, a vertical bar is shown to the right of the articles with: the buyer, address, comments, invoice info, total amount. However, these blocks of data are aligned vertically across the entire height of the order (or so). You have to scroll (and pay attention) quite a bit to see what kind of data is there.

Proposal: put everything at the top directly below each other, so aligned 'top', with a dividing line (frame) between the different blocks of data.

Agree, wilfredb With stamps it is often the case that I want to adjust the number of items in my shop, for example when I am working with a sorting party. Then it is indeed a lot of clicks to increase the number of shop items from, say, 2 to 3. As you say, a step could be skipped.
