This one received an invoice the same day and, according to his data, comes from the Netherlands. Now I get no further contact. How do you deal with this.

I am waiting for the payment. If it is not there after a week, I will send an email with the question whether the order should be cancelled. If I don't get an answer within two days, I will do so without further notice.

It's not uncommon for people to change their mind. I don't worry about that anymore.

Awful situation. It looks like this is indeed a new buyer who has placed an order in 2 different shops. Maybe he doesn't realize that he has ordered from 2 different sellers and he is mixing this up.

Have you contacted him yourself? On the page of this order in "My Shop Orders" you will find his contact details under "Buyer" on the right. I would just send him an email because this seems like a misunderstanding.
