There are those obvious Christmas movies such as Nightmare before Christmas, Scrooge, Polar Express and Santa Clause where Santa Claus himself appears or the Christmas story is central. But what to do with films set around Christmas such as Love Actually, Home Alone, Gremlins, Batman Returns, Trading Places and even Die Hard. These movies all appear in Christmas movie lists and are set around Christmas and Santa Claus sometimes appears in them as well. When and when not to add the Christmas genre?
