#8873291

Just entered. KB lists 23 titles from this series, I have never come across 1 myself. Many of these pockets have been entered in LastDodo , but I don't see the O&S. Am I wrong ? Is this a series that may have been written under pseudonyms. I hope someone can tell me more.

Very strange, I search the internet to see if they exist and yes, there are two in LD under O&S pockets. But if you search in LD itself you will not find them. Searching further I find another couple under O & S pockets... But once again, searching with 'strange' characters like here '&'

Thanks Morits in advance. I also searched for the publisher Nooit Gedacht, as the publisher says in my pocket. However, apparently the publisher Nooitgedacht aan each other is published, then I see more than 250 of that publisher. Also pulp novels. So I'm going to look further.

We are also considering a maximum age limit to view such images :-)

I just turned 69, oh my goodness that's another weird number; We should therefore skip that age. I think the age limit can be set at 70, then I can have a look at the books.

Well Harry56 , I don't know your age, but from the above message from Collectioneur I deduce that LD may soon no longer be accessible with a maximum age (instead of a minimum age!). :-S

Too much (war) violence perhaps?
In the 60s the men were more dressed than the women. This is historically justified literature.

It doesn't have to be on my priority list for the time being -) And I dared to read the book quickly, neatly written texts and the ladies are all rescued and neatly dressed again.

As a youth book lover and especially Bob Evers, I accidentally bought this book by the same author, Mr Willy van der Heide. Apparently a youthful sin ... There should certainly be an age lock on it. #900087

Very little is known about this type of series.

O&S = War & sex ? Some volumes were published by De Vrije Pers, which published a great deal of work by the prolific writer Herman van der Voort. One of the parts was written by him under the pseudonym Francis Brooks. It is quite possible that some other parts were also written by him under pseudonyms that are not yet known as pseudonyms of his.
With this genre I also have to think of the Flemish writer Ludo Van Eeckhout (among others under the names Ludo Van Eck and Inge Liebkraft), who had actually been in a concentration camp herself. Presumably not all pseudonyms by him are known.

It is a strange genre, but apparently popular in the early 1960s given the number of books published.

Vertigo thanks! I have had quite a few books by Herman van der Voort  pseudonyms myself. And apparently a difficult area in itself who wrote what. I did see some modern art internet sites  , where some of those front illustrations have been given an art spot. I skimmed through the book yesterday, it is pulp of the first order, but linguistically fluent.
