Dear members,

I joined this forum today because I received a small collection of old comic books from a family member who actually wanted to throw them away. Now I'm a fan of Suske en Wiske myself, but there were also a number of comics by Guust Flater and Kuifje.

Now I'm curious about the value of the next comic book, hopefully someone can give me an indication.

Comic strip: Tintin and the Temple of the Sun
Year: 1949
Edition: 1st edition? I think because it says 1d but maybe this is misleading.
Condition: Used. Pages are in good condition, only the cover has signs of wear as you can see in the photo.

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to LastDodo.
You probably don't have a first edition, but a reprint. The numbers inside a Tintin usually refer to the year of the copyright.
You should especially compare the back with the albums that are in the catalog, then you can see from which edition you own. The backs are usually on image 2, which you can select above the images.

Your second photo matches image 3 of #24369.
A reprint from 1970, in this condition virtually unsaleable.
Sorry,

Boekenmagazijn ,

It's the same one unfortunately. Then fun for the kids when they're a bit bigger :)
