Question to the Admins of Records.
On this CD #8625031 the Bandmembers are filled in at the Main Artist / Band
I think that's the case not the intention, why is the extra field for the Band members?
But such a CD is entered by someone who does not visit the Forum, or who does not watch it.
How can they immediately know where to enter the Band members can.
Greetings John

The discussion goes on (forever).
I think it is currently in line (and therefore correct) with what the handbook says about it in 4.9. If new fields are added, or if there is consensus about changes to the guidelines, or if LastDodo-wide issues are addressed, the manual can be adjusted again and you might just be right.

4.9 BAND MEMBERS Band members and artists who have contributed to all tracks on an item may be added as additional main artist or guest artist.

Not quite the right topic, but close.

You mentioned the names of the LP, A Good Feelin' to Know by Poco
Doesn't take you even a minute to find them, I think there are tens of thousands of LP's CD's described in the Internet. Usually with the Band Members and the Guest Musicians.
With Poco's LP, it's at least Paul Cotton, Richie Furay, Rusty Young, Timothy B. Schmit and George Grantham with guest artist on Piano, Barry Flast

That's not the point!
Of course this can be found
What matters is that it must be verifiable
And it can't be the intention if you've looked it up properly
That I should look for it again
I just need to be able to get that off the item
And I also know B side we didn't have a scan of and how many times we hammered on that mandatory scan

I think that was used then because a Kiss importer always did this
Also know that we indicated then that band members could just be on the background page

That's what matters to me, if you can't see it on the cover, you can always find it.
What's wrong with that, we live in 2023 long live the Internet.
And I think the input from the net goes faster than reading them from the cover, at least this is my finding with the Composers and Lyricists.
Oh one more thing about Poco's LP, the Genre of this LP is Country Rock.
So this can also be adjusted immediately in the Musicians entry.
Small question in between if one is on the back of this #235533 LP, are these the only Musicians who contributed to the Songs, apparently so, but is this correct, there are still two other musicians involved in the recordings, for example one of them in the Song, Love Me Do

We once had the option to place a so-called “plain text” that went even faster,
But, and I repeat once again, the item must exist and be verifiable, that has always been the starting point
Never changed as far as I know
And I agree that cutting and pasting is faster and there is nothing wrong with that
