Hi,
I think it's crazy that the catagolus value of some coins is (far) below the exchange rate. Does anyone know why this is the case?

Many of those coins do not have such a high collector's value. I think the catalog pricing is based more on collector's value than exchange value. The exchange rate value is therefore higher than the collective value. When these coins are eventually withdrawn from circulation, they will revert to their collector's value.

Hello,

I agree with RuunW. It still remains strange. The problem could be overcome very easily.
Simply indicate in the catalog whether a coin has been withdrawn from circulation (if necessary when).
You could also consider a bullion value for bullion coins with a poor quality.

Sometimes I find that coin pricing is a bit off. Pricing a non-circulating collector coin in FR-ZG-G is really not necessary; you won't come across them.

And last but not least, I think it's a shame that you don't have the option to turn off the prizes in
your own collection other than with art and flying work.

Regards, Yaci.

What the hell would you give for it.
I wouldn't give up my job just yet.

You can always go to a specialized store to have the coin appraised. But I think you will end up with somewhere between 25 and 45 euros (at best).

Hopefully you continue to use the site, you can manage your collection or even add items to the catalog. For example, after an appraisal you can state the price here and then we know a little more to help other people next time.

Success!

Hi, I have a lot of restrike coins, many gold plated. With certificate and a vacuum plastic box around it, see photo..
Are they worth 10 fl?
I'm new, seduced by coin online and like it just fine. But seems a bit fake such a restrike... With certificate

I think the original #3294371 is in the catalog.
But no idea what your reissue is worth, collectors will probably prefer to the original.

Thank you, yes the original is always better of course.
But for my small wallet this is a nice alternative.
Don't know how to add pictures to my own collection by the way.
Kind regards.

The original is also not "solid gold-plated", but solid gold.

Does anyone know exactly what "Weight 6729" means?

Boekenmagazijn  A gold tenner weighs 6.729 grams and contains 6.05 grams of gold.
This answer your question or did you mean something else?

I wanted to point out that the weight was incorrectly stated. But that has now been corrected.

Who actually has a scale that can weigh to the nearest thousandth of a gram?

Hey everyone,

Found a coin recently, but I can't find it on the internet.

Can someone help me determine its value. I think it's the Chinese Kèpèng, just don't know which one…
